We have low cost art studios available in Brimbank open to arts practitioners working within any of the arts disciplines (visual, literary, performing, media) looking for a creative space in a supportive arts environment. Artists who live in Melbourne’s west are encouraged to apply.

Brimbank City Council invites artists/curators/groups to submit proposals to exhibit as part of the 2024 exhibition program.
Artists from the western region of Melbourne and artists from diverse cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Proposals that relate to community events such as MidSumma, Reconciliation Week, Refugee Week, International Day of People with a Disability, for example, may also be highly regarded.

A Bowery Theatre Residency provides a professional development, creative development and performance space for artists to make and present new work with and for the Brimbank community.

Funding is available for art projects that engage Brimbank's community. Artists and arts practitioners working across any arts disciplines can apply. Projects in public spaces can include paste ups, public performances, and the extension of any existing arts projects up to the value of $2000.
INfuse aims to connect creative people living in the west by providing a platform for networking, sharing of ideas, professional development, mutual support and inspiration. Through an informal series of networking events and, professional development opportunities, INfuse aims to foster connections between creative people in our community as well as raise the professional skill base of our local artists and creative businesses.
Council offers various grants to the community throughout the year.
