The Resonate Youth Music Showcase is a curated concert of young musicians, performers and artists (aged 12-25) who live, work or play in the City of Brimbank.

Yen
(She/Her), 17 y/o
Julie To is a Melbourne-based musician and songwriter. She goes by Yen, derived from her ethnic name. Yen began writing songs at about age 12. Her music is inspired by the fundamental struggles of being an angsty teen navigating unexplored emotions with occasional thoughts of existentialism which you'll soon realise as you listen.

(He/Him), 20 y/o
I go by the artist name D KUIR. I’ve been singing and rapping since I was 11 years old. I started taking music seriously at 17 and I’ve released 40 songs now and a couple of music videos. Also, I’ve been doing performances with Brimbank and gigs at clubs. Music is my passion and that’s what I’m chasing in life. It’s the thing I love the most in this world.
Elwyn Lain
(She/Her), 14 y/o
Elwyn Lain is a singer songwriter from Naarm. Elwyn started playing guitar at a young age and has a passion for singing, performing and song writing. She looks forward to sharing her songs with you.
Grace Terpstra
(She/Her), 19 y/o
I am a 19yo singer/songwriter who wants to spread positivity and empower people through my music. At this point music is just a hobbie, but I am hoping that one day people will think of me of the less funny, female version of Lewis Capaldi.
Zen Butler
(He/Him), 25 y/o
Jim Adams aka Zen Butler is a musical melting pot. The wiz behind projects such as Benzo Baby and Gestalt trio. With his debut album being released on May 24th 2023 many exciting releases in the future will come from this artist. Multi-instrumentalist, composer, recording artist and DJ.
