Celebrating Brimbank’s Bold and Creative Arts Community
Daring to be different – Brimbank’s beloved Be Bold Festival returns in 2021 with a dynamic program of arts, culture, music and performance by and for our community in Melbourne’s west.
A global pandemic has not hindered the determination and creativity of our community! Be Bold is a jam-packed two-day festival and everyone is welcome to join in the all-ages celebrations.
Located in the cultural arts hub of St Albans, we are proud to bring you a dedicated outdoors program of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander festivities on Friday 9 April. From 6pm join us for Welcome to Country, Aunty Joyce & Uncle Boots Mural unveiling, dance, art, music, and a Koori/e night market and more. Day two, Saturday 10 April, is a full day of family friendly fun, free entertainment and activities, artist talks, markets, tours.
The Bowery Theatre will have a program of film, art, and children’s theatre over the Friday and Saturday delivered by its artists-in-residence.
