Thank you to everyone who came to Be Bold Festival 2021 and celebrated presents a dynamic program of arts, culture, music and performance by and for our community in Melbourne’s west.
A global pandemic has not hindered the determination and creativity of our community! Be Bold Festival 2021 was a jam-packed two-day all ages festival in Brimbank.
Located in the cultural arts hub of St Albans, the festival held a dedicated outdoors program of Aboriginal, & Torres Strait Islander festivities on Friday 9 April featuring a Welcome to Country, the Aunty Joyce & Uncle Boots Mural unveiling, dance, art, music, and a Koori/e night market and more. Saturday 10 April was full day of family friendly fun, free entertainment and activities, artist talks, markets, tours and more.
The Bowery Theatre hosted a program of film, art, and children’s theatre over the Friday and Saturday delivered by its artists-in-residence.
