Patch by Patch with Jennifer Tran & Sarah Seahorse
Join artists Jennifer Tran and Sarah Seahorse for four free, drop-in workshops exploring nature through art, for the community collaborative art project, Patch by Patch. Whether printed, sewn, embroidered or painted -your distinct patch will become part of a larger modular soft sculpture for display at STACC, for the community to enjoy.
Presented alongside our regular Yarn & Stitch sessions on Wednesday afternoons, Patch by Patch workshops will run on the following dates. Drop-in sessions, no booking required. Ages 15+
- Wednesday 2 September, 3:30 - 6pm
Fabric Collage using iron-on techniques & free motion sewing - Wednesday 16 September, 3:30 - 6pm
Stencil Printing with various dyeing techniques - Wednesday 21 October, 3:30 - 6pm
Hand stitching with basic Embroidery stitches - Wednesday 4 November, 3:30 - 6pm

Yarn & Stitch
Enjoy sewing, knitting, yarning, and stitching at your own pace with these self-guided drop-in sessions.
Sessions include access to:
- Mechanical sewing machines
- Sewing kits with needles, thread, pins, scissors, etc
- Knitting needles, crochet hooks & embroidery hoops
- Practice materials and beginner projects
When: Wednesdays during school term
Time: 3.30-6pm
Location: St Albans Community Centre, 33 Princess Street, St Albans
Cost: Free of charge
All materials supplied
