Brimbank Youth Arts Committee Sign Up

This is a place to sign up to the Brimbank Youth Arts (BYA) Committee, supported by Amplify, for 2025. For any enquires, please email Amira; amiraa@brimbank.vic.gov.au.

BYA Committee is a space for young people (12-25) to lead the planning and delivery of a diverse range of events in the local community. We also want to prioritise helping young people find opportunities for their creative development and to gain experience in production, promotion and design.

What is your interest in joining the BYA Amplify Committee? *

I have an idea for a creative event that I would like to pitch

I want to plan and design events (deciding what/when/where the event will be, contacting performers, budgeting, marketing etc.)

I want to put on/deliver events (as an event worker/assistant, photographer, MC, performer etc.)

I want to be involved in everything - from planning the events, to putting them on, maybe even performing!

Please describe the types of events you would like to work on:

Events could include concerts, poetry nights, creative workshops (ceramics; music production, sketching), excursions to exhibitions, events celebrating your cultural identity etc.)

What previous events experience do you have? *

This is a program where young people lead the planning and delivery of creative events in the local community. I understand that all events are to be drug, alcohol and smoke-free events.
