The health and safety of our community is paramount. At St Albans Community Centre (STACC), the Bowery Theatre, and our Art Spaces (Sunshine Arts Space, Hunt Club Community and Arts Centre) we are doing everything we can to ensure your safety at our venues. Our team is always looking out for you! STACC, Bowery Theatre and our Art Spaces are COVID Safe venues. We have introduced safety and hygiene measures in line with Victoria’s Department of Health and Human Services guidelines and we continue to regularly monitor all government updates to ensure our procedures reflect current directives.
Please note that the safety measures below may be updated, so please check this page again prior to your visit. To make your experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible, we ask that you take your time to read the information below to best prepare you for your visit to our venues.
If you feel unwell
We recommend, where possible, that you reconsider your visit if you have experienced cold or flu like symptoms or you're awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test. Stay home and take care.
Masks
Masks are recommended inside Council venues including St Albans Community Centre, Bowery Theatre and Art Spaces venues.
Good hygiene
Please use hand sanitiser provided at entry and throughout the site or wash your hands for at least 20 - 30 seconds with hot water and soap (in bathrooms).
Attending a performance
Prior to arrival, download your eTicket and have it ready on your mobile phone for scanning. If you do not have access to email, our box office team will assist you, but please keep interactions to a minimum. The box office will open 30-minutes before each event, and you can also purchase a ticket at the door via the QR Code displayed in the foyer. Masks are recommended in the Bowery Theatre.
Ticketing
Go digital and help to minimise the handling of physical items at the theatre, by choosing 'eTickets sent via email' when you book online.
Cashless payments only
We are accepting payment by card if purchasing tickets at the box office and kiosk, to help minimise the handling of physical items at the venue. Please bring a credit or debit card, or payment enabled device for any onsite purchases, as we accept cashless payments only.
Daily cleaning
We have daily cleaning procedures across our venues. This includes regular cleaning of high-touch surfaces throughout the day. Please be mindful of high traffic areas and keep touching to a minimum.
We hope you enjoy your experience at our venues and greatly appreciate your support.
