Presented by Pacific Island Creative Arts Australia Inc. (PICAA)
Pacific Island Creative Arts Australia Inc. (PICAA) was established in 2016 - a first ever platform for local Pasifika creatives to create, develop and perform music, dance and theatre works. Imagine a world where young creatives feel bold and confident enough to shape their own worlds: This is what PICAA has been working towards whilst developing a Pacific and multicultural arts landscape in Australia. This is their ten year celebration - a culmination of their journey, creative discoveries and their cultural expression.
Featuring excerpts from Amataga o le Alofa (D.Tuitea) Rehavaiki (A.Tofete/R.Seumanutafa); works from PICAA’s youth creatives, puppetry from Pacific Gods (in collaboration with Loketi Latu and Snuff Puppets), songs from Pasefika Vitoria Choir and live band, and a stunning exhibition of costumes and headdresses from Malagamaalii Gina Tafea and the Tuiga Program 2025 students.
