Occupation Studies: Agriculture Exhibition by Tahlia Palmer

Tahlia palmer mts

Tahlia Palmer’s exhibition examines how industrial farming has shaped Brimbank’s landscape and history. Tahlia is an artist of Yuwaalaraay and European descent who explores the impact of colonial land use, from water management to large-scale agriculture. Through video and abstract imagery, she highlights the environmental damage while honouring Indigenous knowledge and connections to Country. This thought-provoking exhibition challenges notions of agricultural progress and invites reflection on the lasting effects of colonisation.
