Resonate - Bowery Online Stage Series is a curated program of online performances showcasing musicians, performers and artists of diverse backgrounds. Following the success of Resonate’s first three videos which premiered late last year, we are excited to be continuing our program with three new video performances by local emerging artists. Filmed at the Bowery Theatre, Resonate invites audiences to discover new voices, be inspired by songs, and find connection through sound.

Bangladeshi/Indian-born Melbourne-based songwriter-producer Mufeez aka Vertex deliver songs that punch you in the gut; they’re vulnerable, aggressive, and unapologetic. These are reflected in his music through the roaring basslines, hard-hitting drums, and various instruments making up the Vertex signature sound.

Inspired by acoustic covers growing up, Queer Pasefik singer-songwriter Mercii Makepeace has adopted a raw and vulnerable acoustic sound. Driven by her sense of Freedom and Justice, she uses her musical talents as another way for her advocacy work and activism.

Melbourne-based independent singer/songwriter Ag Johnson covers a variety of genres such as R&B, Afro and Pop. She recently released her debut single ‘Beauty Within’ featuring fellow Resonate artist NOMAD and currently working on her debut EP.
