About Scented Cinema
Cinema That Smells brings stories to life by engaging the sense of smell, creating a deeper connection between the audience and the screen. At Midsumma, two unique screenings will explore how scent can evoke emotion, trigger memory, and spark laughter.
Join us to experience the magic of gathering, interacting, and exploring new dimensions of storytelling—all through the power of your nose! Tammy Burnstock (Scented Storytelling) and Jas Brooks (Snivure) are seasoned collaborators with a shared passion for the power of scent in cinema. From preserving the last Smell-O-Vision! system from 1960 to crafting new scentinfused experiences, their work celebrates the intersection of history, technology, and creative storytelling through scent.
