As part of the Lunar New Year, we present emerging artist Phuong Nguyen Le presents Sunshine. The work centres on the artists' unlearning of the Vietnamese diaspora, utilising the Naarm/Melbourne suburb of Sunshine as a geographic anchor point. Through an expanded mode of social documentary photography, Nguyen Le unpacks themes of war, migration, and the cultural reimagining within the Vietnamese-Australian community.
