Brimbank City Council invites artists and creative businesses to apply for a stall at the BE BOLD Festival on Saturday 8 October.

The BE BOLD Festival seeks to transforms St Albans into a bold and colourful arts and cultural epicentre for one day, attracting thousands of visitors each October.

In its fourth year, 2022 promises to be bolder than ever, offering an exciting, diverse and inclusive program. The festival includes exhibitions, public performance, market and food stalls and special arts events across the St Albans Community Centre (STACC) and Bowery Theatre site, as well as Errington Oval and across the precinct. BE BOLD will make available exciting art and cultural content and open up new conversations to the Brimbank community and beyond.

In 2022 BE BOLD aims to:

  • Engage and promote local artists, local learning, community centres and local business
  • Support artists and encourage art sector development
  • Encourage increased cultural awareness
  • Foster partnerships between local artists, community centres, local business and Council.
  • Enable cultural, economic and community engagement and development
  • Raise the profile of art, craft and culture in Brimbank
