Terms and Conditions for Brimbank Artist Registry

1. Acceptance of Terms

By applying to the Brimbank artist registry, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be 18 years or older or have permission from a legal guardian if under 18.
  • Applicants must either reside in the Brimbank Council area or demonstrate a strong connection to the community (e.g., work, study, or frequent collaborations).

3. Submission and Content Requirements

  • All submitted information is accurate, current, and free from misleading or false statements.
  • Uploaded works do not infringe on copyright, trademark, or any intellectual property rights.
  • Images provided should be at least 300 DPI or a minimum of 1920x1080 pixels to ensure quality.
  • Listings are subject to editorial discretion to align with platform guidelines and community standards.
  • You agree to provide at least one preferred contact method to be publicly listed on the registry.

5. Modification or Termination of Registry

  • Artists can request changes to their data or request to remove their listing any time by contacting the Art Spaces Officer – artspaces@brimbank.vic.gov.au
  • Listings which are no longer up to date will be removed at our discretion.
  • Brimbank City Council reserve the right to modify or discontinue the registry at any time

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Brimbank City Council is not liable for any loss, damage, or technical issues resulting from participation in the registry.
  • Artists agree that they use the registry at their own risk, with the understanding that council strives to provide a reliable platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
