Primary Artistic Discipline: Visual Art
Other disciplines: Performing Arts, Literary Arts
I am a lens-based artist studying a Master of Photography at RMIT University, living and working on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation. My practice-based research combines digital and analogue photographic processes to examine memory, identity and embodied affect in relation to temporality. My images have been displayed in group shows throughout Victoria, including fortyfive downstairs, A-N Studios, Unassigned Gallery, Fitzroy Art Collective, TBH Studios, RMIT University’s IDEA Gallery, Fly Little Bird Gallery, Louis Joel Arts and Community Centre, Footscray Connectivity Centre and Trocadero Projects. My practice is also situated alongside collaborative community art initiatives; I have collaboratively designed, developed and delivered a range of arts-based events that aim to empower young people through creative arts across Moonee Valley and the City of Maribyrnong.
