Julianne is a second-generation Vietnamese-Australian born millennial. She
likes to connect all aspects - an amalgamation of philosophies, metaphors,
symbols - a tapestry of colours and perspectives. Her style is influenced by
the spiritual, religious and cultural groups, movements and social communities
she has volunteered and ventured with after graduating with her Design degree.
Julianne uses her personal experiences of self reflection, trauma and
encounters with people from all walks of life as a catalyst to create sounds
and experimental videos to portray the depth of our inner selves, inner core
and inner consciousness with our shared experiences in our cultural traditions
and intergenerational families.
