Stephanie is a Melbourne-based visual artist working primarily in oil pastel and oil painting. Her practice explores memory, travel, and a sense of place through architectural landscapes and atmospheric scenes. Drawing inspiration from her Latin American heritage and experiences across Australia and Europe, she captures fleeting moments, quiet streets, and culturally rich environments with warmth and texture. Her work is characterised by expressive mark-making and layered colour, balancing structure with softness to evoke nostalgia and emotional connection. Stephanie is a member of the Victorian Artists Society (VAS). Alongside her studio practice, she is also an Auslan educator, and her connection to the Deaf community informs her visual storytelling and interest in communication beyond words. Through her work, she invites viewers to reflect on places they have been, moments they remember, and the feeling of belonging across different cultures and environments.
