Artist Call out: Indigenous Artwork in the Brimbank City Council Chamber Project
We are inviting suitably qualified Indigenous artists and/or creative design teams to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the development of the Indigenous Artwork in the Brimbank City Council Chamber project. Council is looking to commission a large scale indigenous drawing or painting that can be blown-up and printed onto a clear vinyl material to then be stuck on the windows in the Brimbank City Council Chamber. The final piece will be visible from both inside and outside the building.
The project aims to create an artwork that is reflective of, and valued by the anticipated community of, and visitors to, Sunshine. Council is seeking advice from the Wurundjeri Council to ensure that appropriate protocols are observed. This advice may inform the final outcome for the selected artist.
