Presenting artists Marijke Fotia and Bridey Lockhurst-Bligh

Creek Grasses is a piece of large scale embroidered public art in Albion. Local artist Marijke Fotia, with assistance from passionate embroiderer Bridey Lockhurst-Bligh and a group of community members will install a large scale embroidery of native grasses onto tennis court fencing in Albion, near Kororoit Creek.

The artists are seeking expressions of interest from community members who would like to participate in a series of three workshops to create the materials needed for the embroidery. Participation is free and you can participate in one or all of the workshops. There is a limit of 15 people per workshop.
