Jennifer Tran Q&A

IMG 5604

We are excited to present Jennifer Tran a local community artist and performance designer of Chinese and Vietnamese cultural heritage who also lives, works and socialises in the western suburbs of Melbourne.

During the long lockdown all Melbourne residents powered through, Jennifer shares some of the things that kept her motivated during this challenging time spent indoors.

Attached is a selfie of Jennifer working away at a cookbook design for a community project called Mamma's Kitchen at the Moonee Valley City Council. "Next to me, I always have a cup of tea with me to keep me grounded" she said.

When we get out of lockdown what will be the first thing you do?

The first thing I'll do is drive out to Mount Dandenong, enjoy a delicious meal and go bushwalk.

Who/What is inspiring you at the moment?

Victorian Market has been inspiring me heaps with their fresh produce! Every week I make sure I go to the market to buy my groceries because they are only open on certain days.

What have you been binge watching?

Squid Game - so scary but so gooood! Sex Education is a great laugh and The School That Tried To End Racism, such an amazing docoseries.
