Nefelibata is a state that reflects one who lives in suspension, often beyond the clouds. This exhibition is a way to reflect our particular moment in the history of humanity - marked by the solitary confinement of our corners, but also by the DISharmony of being with those we love, care and share our daily lives with.
Nefelibata - is a way to discuss and present questions about certain social concerns in which foreign artists debate in a society where the dominant language is often a major barrier. In daily communication, art emerges as a language of salvation or perhaps the best form of mediation between the artist and the community where he lives.
This exhibition is composed of 15 paintings and drawings that will interact with other mediums including sound and video. This project will be an individual exhibition, but will also include some guests through some parallel activities such as performances and debates and for that reason, it will be a collective effort to bring together lovers of art, culture and social activism.
Open Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 5pm to 8pm and Saturdays from 6pm to 9pm

'Fleeting landscapes' is an exhibition that considers the body's connection to the earth. A dialogue between the landscape and the female body. It is about connecting to the womb (nature) and re-establishing bonds with the material source. The exhibition contains an ecological sensibility that emphasizes the reciprocity between body and land and resistance to colonialist ideas of land and territory.

This exhibition showcases Julianne Nguyen and Lily Nguyen’s visual reflections on their father’s intimate and personal migration journey and the sacrifices made along the way.
“We want to unpack the reasons why both of our fathers left their home country, Vietnam. As young adults living with dual identities, we have a unique perspective on how to bridge our father’s story to the public to create a unique exhibition that is in the heart of the Vietnamese community in Melbourne’s western suburbs”

Intra is a solo exhibition and re-configuration of Angela Rossitto’s PhD examination exhibition Materialising Deep Time. The work is an immersive installation based on this theme and the title reflects the state of becoming, that the artist enters into with material. Like the world and the universe which are in flux as works in progress, the artist views her practice as ever emerging and never complete.
The work highlights the fact that humans are not outside of nature but are enmeshed within it. As an assemblage the work engages humans and non-humans (material) and heightens viewer awareness of their own human situatedness within ecologies causing one to reflect on their place in time and space.
